How I Became A Millionaire With Dropshipping
Why am I sharing my story? Well, I had grown tired of the ups and downs with Google and building affiliates sites and met an interesting person one day in Whistler BC. I was in the Canadian ski resort town on vacation like I did every Winter, and met someone in the Chateau Fairmont lounge while enjoying a single malt scotch. We got to talking about Internet Marketing and it eventually came out that he ran 3 online shops and spent most of his days traveling the world.
I had always had plans to get more involved in this and diversify from my Amazon affiliate review sites. I was already making nearly $90,000 yearly after tax with 27 niche websites, so things were going great, I just needed to find the next big step. So back to this guy whom we’ll call Mark….he recommended I read a book called the “4 Hour Work Week”, a book that had been sitting on my shelf actually, unread!
He explained the book a bit, then told me how he worked only a couple dozen hours a week and made enough money to be very secure within 5 years. His three shops were all in the medical vertical and had a high commission per sale. He said once the sites were seen as an authority in the niche, the sales tap never stopped flowing in. Each shop looked great, had the right on/off page SEO, well down social media and eventually grew to be a known brand. He also had a game changing secret tip that Timothy Ferriss doesn’t mention in his book. I will share it with you because it requires some work on your part. Those who choose to take the advice won’t regret it in the long run.
Well, after reading the “4 Hour Work Week” I was pretty pumped! The book was a great read, and served as inspiration with a set plan to go and tackle. This lead me to go get my first drop shipping partner and start an online shop! My new mission in life was to get 5 different shops over 2 years making me a million dollars.
Within 24 hours of reading that book, I had my first niche picked out and I was hunting for both an Ecommerce platform, a domain name and a supplier. This blog will run you guys through my process and you can choose to follow it or tweak it to your liking. One thing that’s for sure, it works if you put in the time and the effort.
Within the 23nd month I reached that goal, and it has only double coming into the fifth year! While I still work a lot, there’s a good amount of money to be made and still live a better life. I personally will build a couple dozen more online shops and then setup for my retirement by 40.
I will also be going in depth about a hidden treasure I discovered within this business. I will tell you how my first sale as a wholesale rep netted me $2,489 for basically forwarding an email. I will show you how to tap into niche wholesale keywords that will triple your income within your third year.
Most of you who read this through won’t have it in them to put in the two years, but those of you who do won’t regret. I bet even a few of you reach the goal even sooner, that of course if you pick the right niche. You never know what trend you hit at the right time will do for your bank statement. I made a personal goal to make $3.5 million dollars by the 5th year, and I ended up doing it 2 years early. I’ll never forget that summer as I lived it up!

Keep in mind this is going down while I sleep folks, and not only that, this is only one of my five shops! During Christmas, I’ll sometimes wake up to $2000 in PROFIT before I even get my first cup of coffee poured. Like I said before, this requires a good amount of work, but the amount of money that’s out there for the taking is well worth it. I’m not looking to invest in more real estate, get some sound retirement funds setup and still never ever worry about money problems. I currently travel the world, own my dream car and take the time to look after my health and future without worry.

My shops now bring in a dream salary and it’s steadily growing year by year! Going into 2012 I have set a new goal, and that’s to clear $3 million in net profit with the expansion into whole supplier deals.
